About this event
If you are LGBTQ+ and care or support someone, this may be the group for you.
Our Peer Carers Support Group is a partnership between LGBT Health and Wellbeing and the Carewell Health and Wellbeing Partnership to offer a space where LGBTQ+ carers can find support and connection.
During our sessions, we'll discuss various topics related to caregiving, mental health, self-care and more. Our aim is to foster a supportive environment where everyone can share experiences, exchange advice, and find solidarity. Together, we can navigate the unique challenges and triumphs that come with being an LGBTQ+ carer.
Come as you are, and let's build a strong, caring community together!
Who we welcome
All LGBTQ+ people aged 16+ are welcome to join us.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring or aren't sure about their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
