About this event
The Peer Partnership Peer Coordinator’s Forum is a space for professionals working on or considering implementing peer support programmes in their organisations.
It is an opportunity to meet with others running peer support services, hear updates relevant to peer support, share best practice, discover opportunities for the development of peer mentoring and partnership working, and see what information and resources may be available to help us in our roles.
The forum meets four times a year and offers opportunities for you to network, highlight the important work you are doing, and learn from your peers. We also hope that by having this forum, we will contribute to the overall promotion and spread of peer support and service-user involvement across the VCSE and health sectors.
Agenda for the September 2025 Peer Coordinators Forum
Introduction to the Forum
Co-design and Co-Production - Facilitated by Sean Hourigan
Sean Hourigan will present how we can embed co-design and co-production principles into our peer support services.
How do we involve lived experience in the development of peer support?
Participants will be split into breakout rooms to network with other participants, with a focus on how we can involve lived experience to design or develop existing or planned peer support programs. In these breakout rooms participants will talk about:
- How we currently involve lived experience in the design and development process.
- What the obstacles and barriers to greater inclusion of lived experience participation in the design and development of services are.
- What knowledge, training or support would help us to increase lived experience participation.
The forum will reconvene and feedback
What do we want from the forum?
An open discussion on what participants want from the forum in the future.
News and updates from participants
An opportunity for participants to mention asks and offers to the group. This can include asking for advice or offering services or opportunities.
