Event description

Description

Following a sucessful first session, I'm pleased to say that Peer to Peer BIM will be back in February in a better location on campus. I'm also improving the format following the feedback from the last session.

If you missed the first sessions here are some bullet points from my slides on why I want do run Peer to Peer BIM and Who it's for:

Why:

To accelerate the digitisation of the Southwest Region and beyond through knowledge sharing and networking
To enable everyone free access to learning where formal training isn’t available to them.
To encourage the supply chain to develop BIM capabilities and form partnerships with other BIM enabled organisations.
To leverage all of these benefits and make them available to our students.

Who:

Event is for Students and Professionals
Students Share their knowledge with industry
Industry Share their knowledge with students
Both gain knowledge
Students gain employment opportunities
Industry gain first refusal on the best and brightest new staff

Location: Room 1R026

Second Session:
The sessions will run with 2 difficulties on alternate months: Standard and Advance, this session will be Standard. Though all sessions are inclusive, open to all and will aim to add value to all abilities.

4:00 – Arrival and Networking

4:15 – Introductions

4:30 – Speaker 1 (TBA)

5:00 – Speaker 2 (TBA)

5:30 – Speaker 3 (TBA)

6:00 – BIM Clinic - We're looking for delegates to bring some challenges with them. So if you're having troubles in the next month, write them down and bring them along. We're going to open the discussion up to the room and use all the fantastic skills and experience to solve problems. The problems and solutions will then be logged and made available. (How's that for collaboration!)

6:30 – Continued discussions and networking

7:00 – close
