What is a Peer to Peer Mentoring Group?
Peer to peer mentoring is a process in which participants share their knowledge and expertise with each other in order to help every person grow and develop. Not only can this process help to improve the skills and knowledge of team members, but it can also foster a critical awareness of the key issues around mentoring and help to grow your mentoring network.
They are facilitated by an experienced member of the Association of Business Mentors and each session will explore a different aspect of mentoring
Why should you be involved?
Regardless of your level of experience being a mentor, interacting with fellow mentors is a fabulous way to share experiences, learn from others and become part of a trusted learning environment with like minded professionals who, like you are committed to excelling as a business mentor. Our peer to peer mentor circles are an excellent way to interact and increase your business mentoring ability.
What will you get from the Group?
By committing to the four cohort sessions and by fully interacting as a valued member of the group you will acquire experience, knowledge and peer support from the exchanges. The mentor support circles will help provide you with a network of like minded professionals that might stretch beyond the initial 4 session exchange and overcome the isolation often felt by individual practitioners in our profession. Attendance can also help those working toward professional credentialing as it can form part of your formal CPD hours.
