Description

Would you love to...

  • run without leaking?

  • have a stronger core?

  • bounce on a trampoline with your kids, but don't currently because you don't feel secure enough?

  • be confident in exercise classes so that there's no need to leave half way through to use the toilet?

  • stop spending money on incontinence pads?

Do you have a prolapse and want to protect it from getting worse?

Do things feel different ever since you had a baby and you're not sure exactly what is going on?

Or perhaps you just want to make the wise move to learn how to protect your body from incontinence issues in the future.

Whatever your reason, join us for a relaxed and fun workshop to get you started on building a stronger pelvic floor and core. We'll be teaching you the basics on how to build a stronger body. We'll help you. We have 2 expert speakers who will help you:

  • Demystify the pelvic floor - Learn what it's for? What it looks like? How to activate it?

  • Understand pelvic floor dysfunctions such as incontinence and prolapse - and how strengthening your pelvic floor can help

  • Learn how a Women's Health Physiotherapist may help

  • Learn how the core is connected to the pelvic floor

  • Understand why movement and breathing are important to pelvic floor function

  • Understand why a whole body approach is needed not just a ‘squeeze’

  • Learn about the relationship between your activities, lifestyle and your core/pelvic floor strength

  • Learn some simple exercises that you can practice at home with loads of hints and techniques for a positive outcome
