Welcome! This session is aimed to support women and birthing people during pregnancy. This session is led by our pelvic health therapy assistant practitioners who work alongside the pelvic health physiotherapy team and midwives at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. In this session they aim to share with you information and self-help advice to support you on your pregnancy journey.

During the session there will be chairs. The session lead will present information on pelvic health, perineal massage, health bladder and bowel, and encourage comfortable conversation around these topics in a safe environment. They will use slides to show text, images and videos to provide you with advice and resources. There will be a comfort break halfway through. The session will aim to last 90-120 minutes (depending on questions and engagement).

There will likely be other women and pregnant people attending this session, if you feel comfortable to ask questions please do. Otherwise you are welcome to just listen.

As this is not a 1:1 advice session please do not share personal or private information that you do not wish to be in the public domain.

If you are unable to make the session or would like to speak to the session lead please contact pmhphysio@nnuh.nhs.uk

We hope you enjoy the session!
