What does pelvic health mean?

Pelvic health refers to the health of everything within your pelvic region. This includes the health of your bladder, bowel, genital region and pelvic floor muscles. Examples of pelvic health conditions include; urinary and bowel incontinence, overactive bladder, constipation, perineal trauma, pain

Who can attend this talk?

This talk is aimed specifically at women and/or individuals who were assigned female at birth. We welcome women of all ages to come to this talk, even teenagers who may be interested in developing an understanding of their pelvic health.

Can I only attend this talk if I currently have pelvic health symptoms?

No, anyone can attend. This talk will provide you with information to help improve or prevent pelvic health symptoms.

Do I have to ask questions and be involved in discussions?

We welcome questions and group interaction, and guarantee that if you have symptoms, you won’t be the only one. However, we like all attendees to be as comfortable as possible and so you can participate as much or as little as you like.

Is there wheelchair access at the Barn?

Yes, the community Barn has wheelchair access.

If I book a place and I am unable to attend, am I eligible for a refund?

Full refunds will be given if notice of cancellation is provided more than 7 days prior to the talk. Any cancellations within 7 days of the talk will receive a 50% refund.
