The Jane Austen Society of the Emirates plans its second afternoon tea at Sidra Lounge at Habtoor Palace on Saturday, 14th May at 4pm.

Enjoy delectable afternoon tea with sparkling conversation among the very best company. The very pretty Sidra Lounge at Habtoor Palace will be standing in for Lizzie & Darcy's Pemberley estate and features a lovely harpist.

We had a wonderful turnout last time with 16 ladies and gentlemen from various countries and professional backgrounds, married or single, of various age groups, and living in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and beyond.

You are welcome to dress in Regency-inspired outfits (Austen/Bridgerton) and accessories but this is not mandatory. Do bring along books and knick knacks as conversation starters.
