Hello Forum Member

The Autumn 2025 Pembrokeshire Community Buildings Forum's theme is 'Using local produce in your community' with this Forum being run a little differently in that as well as updates from speakers from the Voluntary Sector we are also offering free food to all attendees - a delicious hot soup followed by a hearty fruit crumble! (Dietary queries please email liz.cook@pavs.org.uk)

This Forum is about how community venues and local growers / allotments can team up together to provide food for the community in their hall kitchens and the potential this brings to create a new revenue stream.

There will be presentation from Sue Latham, the Pembrokeshire Local Food Partnership's Officer, who are kindly funding the event and catering for the it. V C Gallery in Pembroke Dock will be providing the catering for the event and will speak about their successful Community Food Project which runs a weekly community lunch at their venue cooked by volunteers and using some food grown by themselves.

PAVS Social Enterprise Officer Steffan Lemke-Elms and Polina Henderson from Grwp Resilience will also be giving short presentations on their respective community growing/local food initiatives and support they can offer to venues interested in growing or using local food for income generation.

The event will also include discussion about a potential County-Wide growing and community food event to be held at community venues across in early Summer next year.

There will be an opportunity as always for lots of networking and the popular Funding update from PAVS will round the evening off.
