Event description

Description

Come and join a different type of healthcare event which aims to share learning between healthcare professionals involved in paediatric emergency, acute, and urgent care.

The theme is "What we do with what we've got" and the obectives are:

  • To share best practice in the assessment of ill children
  • To highlight approaches to common issues e.g. recognising sepsis
  • To create and develop multi-professional communities of practice

The programme is in development but if you would like to share an approach, system, checklist or other methodology of improving care please contact me to discuss.

There will be a number of talks on the latest evidence (and pragmatic) based approaches to a variety of common presentations. The key aim is for this to be a shared learning event rather than a conference.

Attendance is free for medical staff who bring a nurse with them or for individual Nurses, ACPs, Paramedics and Play Specialists. If you are coming as a sole clinician please contact me directly.

*Update (11/01/18): Tickets are going very fast. Please don't register unless you think you will be attending to ensure everyone who wants to come can. Please contact me if tickets aren't available and you would still like to attend!*
