We are looking for people with commitment and enthusiasm to become part of our ‘Pen to Print Ambassadors’ volunteer team to lead an exciting research and marketing project.
With expert guidance from The Audience Agency we will work with you to find out what people think about libraries in general and creative writing and artistic opportunities in the area. You do not need any prior skills or expertise to get involved. Everyone aged 16 to 25 is welcome.
This project will involve coming to a 2 three hour workshops at Barking Learning Centre.
In these workshops we will do some research to understand what people your age think about libraries and this project, as well as developing creative ideas for future marketing campaigns.
You need to attend both sessions. Travel costs will be covered and refreshments provided.
The next stage will involve doing research in the community. The final stage of the project will take place in 2017, and will involve planning an event to share this research. You don’t need to commit to this at this stage.
