Session Two: Developing Spooky Characters
Building on the first session, this workshop focuses on character creation—especially villains and paranormal figures—within horror, crime, and ghostly narratives. It will also revisit atmosphere and setting as tools to enhance character impact.
Key Activities:
- Recap of atmosphere and setting techniques.
- Exploration of spooky characters: human, paranormal, and ghostly.
- Tasks to evaluate character psychology and develop scenes that intertwine character, setting, and mood.
Outcome: Participants will gain tools to create compelling, psychologically rich characters that elevate the tension and depth to their spooky stories.
