Based on true events set in the 1800s during the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln, Crows and Angels is the story of Hannah Nelson, a Norwegian fifteen-year-old girl with a special gift.
From a young age, Hannah had been renowned for her special powers in Norway; but when her beloved papa announces they are immigrating to America, Hannah is faced with the perilous journey by ship and wagon train to the Dakota Territory, while going through many highs and lows on their journey word gets out of Hannah’s gift and Hannah is thrown into the forefront of a life and death struggle for survival, between the Lakota Sioux Indians and the white man.
After using her gifts to save the life of the son of the Great Indian Chief, Little Crow, Hannah believes that she has been sent to help, but will her gifts be enough? Or will this be the time when her powers cannot save her Indian friends from total extermination.
