Pen to Print: Finding Your Voice on the Page with Jenny Mitchell

In this poetry workshop, participants will be given creative prompts to think about the poems they dare not write, the personas they dare not take on in their work and new ways to strengthen their existing poetic voice.

We will look at ways to challenge internal blocks to writing/submitting work, and examine the part Judgement and Praise play in our work.

There will be plenty of time for writing in a non-judgemental environment.

This session will be facilitated by the award-winning poet, Jenny Mitchell. Her work is on the syllabus at Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Connecticut. She also has a poem on permanent display at Sussex University and has just been made Poet in the Community for Cork City Libraries.
