Farzana Hakim author and daily editor of Write On! Magazine hosts a series of workshops for women to express their voice through writing. Farzana is previous winner of Pen to Print's Book Challenge Competition and published her debut novel Sweethearts of Ilford Lane.

Farzana is look forward to meeting women from all backgrounds and please read on to hear her voice:

"This workshop will be a serious one exploring the forces or people who have silenced our voices".

"Why and how did we feel helpless?"

"Did we know at the time, that we were being silenced or was it that we accepted it as the norm?"

"When did we realise we were being silenced and our voice wasn’t being heard?"

"Our exercise this week will be emotional therefore, I will be sharing tips on how using our senses is a powerful tool when writing things down".
