Pen Y Fan - Mountain Challenge

Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. At 886 metres (2,907 ft) above sea-level. Made famous as part of the selection process of the UK's Special Forces personnel and a definite bucket list mountain for those who have not yet ticked it off.

The route is around 14km starting and finishing at Taf Fechan Forest. We will have plenty of time to complete the route without having to rush giving us plenty of time to take in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and to be able to chat to one another on the journey.

You do not need any prior experience of mountain walking, however, you will need to be medically fit and have the correct kit to attempt the challenge.

I will email a kit list to all attendees to ensure you are aware of the equipment you require.
