Event Details

Hear from a panel of Pendle's well-known entrepreneurs who will share their business journeys and insider knowledge with you. Includes pre-speaker networking and panel Q&A after the speakers (more details below).

Speakers include: Saj Butt of 3B Systems in Nelson, Michael Hubbert of Graham Engineering in Nelson, Thomas Davies of Janitorial UK based in Colne and  Linda Taylor of Education Business Partnership NW. Also joining us is Dominic Martinez from the Lancs Skills Hub who will briefly introduce attendees to the new T-Level qualification for 16-18 year olds - and the 9 week industry placements that are already benefitting employers.

Breakfast and refreshments are provided. Tickets are FREE.

More details:  Following a networking session from 8am, we'll have a Pendle Borough update around 8.40am from Dean Langton, Chief Executive of Pendle Borough Council. Current and upcoming projects within Pendle will be summarised in addition to available support for local and incoming businesses. then a presentation from each of our speakers. 

Each entrepreneur / business owner will share the paths they took to steer their businesses to the local & regional success stories they are now. 

Linda Taylor from EBPNW will detail how employers can support high school students and widen their pool of potential employees. Dominic Martinez from Lancs Skills Hub will introduce attendees to T-Levels. 

The speakers will take questions as a panel after they've shared their stories and the event will end at 10am



Combining business networking with speakers, Pendle Connects events provide a platform for sharing of best business practice, innovation, ideas and business generation. Events are open to all Pendle based businesses and those doing business in Pendle. All sectors, private, public and voluntary are welcome to attend.
