Additional information from the leader:

This walk is listed under my walks for the Up & Active programme.

This is listed as an Up&Active walk, and will include my normal contingent of Tuesday walkers. However, if on the day, sufficient numbers of Festival walkers turn up, especially those with children, and I wish to encourage those with children. I will amend the route to include items of local historical interest, such as the Ightenhill Manor House, Grove Lane animal woodcarvings, the history of the Ginny track and mineworkings etc.

In that case, it would be at a moderate pace, not faster paced.

I will be printing off a history quiz for those taking part, to fill in, especially the children
