Event description

Description

This walk follows a trail linking three local nature reserves, with a good opportunity to enjoy the wildlife along the way. The walk was developed in 2010 to mark the UN International Year of Biodiversity.

The walk passes through Greenfield Local Nature Reserve, Alkincoates Woodland Local Nature Reserve and Upper Ball Grove Local Nature Reserve. The route joins up the reserves through the countryside on the edge of Colne using a combination of field paths, riverside paths and roads.
