Event description

Description

We go along the original Ferndean Way from Primet Bridge, join Bronte Way at Wycoller and divert at Spoutley Lumb for the Trawden bus back (NB you will need money for the bus).

The original Ferndean Way was between Primet bridge and Wycoller (it's now between Waterside bridge and Wycoller); and we go past Lumb Spout Waterfall en route to Trawden. Colne/Waterside is also said to have inspired Charlotte Bronte's novel Shirley.

This is walk 40 of 61 walks in this year's Pendle Walking Festival.
