Event description

Description

We catch a bus to Trawden, and then walk to Boulsworth Dyke for Bronte Way which goes past Twist Castle, finishing alongside River Brun and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. We catch another bus to return to our starting point (NB you will need money for the bus).

About one third of the route is in the Pendle area and at the finish, we leave the canal towpath near Bank Hall Care Home (formerly Maternity Home where the walk leader was born!) opposite Prestige Business Park in Burnley.

This is walk 45 of 61 walks in this year's Pendle Walking Festival.
