Description

We climb Boulsworth Hill from the historic village of Wycoller and visit the Druids' sacrificial slaughter stone.

The points of interest along the walk include the history of the village and bridges, packhorse trails. the limestone hushings and sheddings, rock carvings, the fantastic views. No dogs are allowed on this walk due to open access restrictions.

This is walk 7 of 61 walks in this year's Pendle Walking Festival.

What do I need to bring on the walk?

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for outdoor walking.Pendle’s weather can be wet so please bring waterproofs. It’s important to remember to bring food and plenty of water. More information on walking safely is available from www.ramblers.org.uk under the ‘Advice’ section.

Can I bring a dog on this walk?

Sorry but no dogs are allowed on this walk.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age requirement but children must be accompanied by an adult.
