There will be a tour of the castle and the courtrooms from 3pm-5pm followed by trial and debating activities in the Shire Hall from 5pm -6.30pm. The trial will be overseen by Judge Russell, who has recently retired from the judiciary as recorder of Preston.
You may make your own travel arrangements to get to Lancaster Castle. However, if you are meeting us there please ensure that you are there in good time and at the Lancaster Castle café by 2.45pm at the latest.
The tour goes into part of the building that includes a working courtroom and the tour guide has to unlock and lock certain sections so if you are late you will be unable to join the tour/trial until much later.
The assessed workbook will be on information from the tour and the trial/debating activities and you will be provided with a hard copy of this workbook on the coach.
