Community networking event for Huddersfield & surrounding areas with help and info about funding, volunteering, and support
About this event
Join us for our first virtual People Helping People Network meeting. This meeting is particularly for community and voluntary groups in Huddersfield, but is open to any not-for-profit group in Kirklees.
We'll have a couple of speakers from One Community and Kirklees Council who will be able to update you with the latest news about funding and support, but most importantly we want you to have the opportunity to:
- connect with other like-minded groups
- share what you're group is doing
- and hear from others about what they're doing
- tell us about any issues you have
- find out how to get help
- support each other
The meeting will take place on Microsoft Teams. Please book a place and you will be sent details of how to join the meeting nearer the time. You don't need a Microsoft account and you won't need a special app or to login.
If you would definitely like the opportunity to speak for 1-2 minutes and share something from your group, please email comms@tslkirklees.org.uk to book a slot.
People Helping People Network meetings are run by Third Sector Leaders Kirklees in partnership with Kirklees Council. They are designed to give information and support to community groups, voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises.
