About this event
AI in HR - How to make it work most effectively for you and your organisation?
AI is changing the way organisation’s work and HR is no exception, it can save you time, reduce admin, and help you focus on what really matters - your people. With the emergence of these new tools come big questions: How do you use AI in a way that’s fair, ethical, and compliant? What policies do you need to be aware of? And how can AI support, rather than replace, the human side of HR?
This session is designed to give you practical and real insights into AI’s role in HR today. Andrew Whyatt-Sames and Lucy Pitt from UptakeAI will starts us off, sharing AI trends and policy changes that affect HR professionals. Then, we’ll explore hands-on demonstrations of how AI can help with everyday HR challenges, from shortlisting CVs while protecting data privacy to handling routine queries with accuracy and even supporting leadership development. We’ll also explore how HR teams can work with collaboratively across the organisation to ensure AI adoption is smooth and effective.
Rounding off the session, we’ll hear from Anna Tanner, Head of Employee Experience, who'll share her experience of bringing AI into Flagship Housing—the highs, the lows, and the learns from the experience.
The cost to attend this event is £10, which we will donate to SARS and Inspire Suffolk.
Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS)
We will be raising money for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) - an emergency medical charity funded by voluntary donations. SARS provides specialist clinicians who have additional skills and carry drugs and equipment not normally found on frontline ambulances. This enables SARS to undertake advanced life-saving interventions at the scene, which would not normally be possible outside the hospital environment. SARS clinicians offer their services without charge and SARS currently responds to around 450-500 callouts a year.
