Event description
What does people powered health and social care look like and how can you create a culture that enables it?

About this Event

A masterclass that is about true participation.

Learn more about people powered health and social care and what that means for your leadership role as you lead services that enable patient and public participation. Participants welcomed who work together across a place based system so they can learn together throughout the masterclass and take the ideas back to their team , organisation and system.

Building on the masterclass in July, this event will translate the new power mindset work of Jeremy Heimans and demonstrate how health and care is changing.

Power is often understood as a zero sum game, where one person's loss is equal to the other person's gain. But some of the best innovations in health, care and wellbeing are creating a new form of power. Power that motivates and mobilises both citizens and staff. Power that connects citizens with the health, care, community and voluntary sectors to find new ways to support people to be healthy and happy. Come and hear how it can be done.

Please note: Lunch will be provided.

What to expect
