Event description

Description

This session will be an in-depth look at maximising relationships with existing supporters and explore how a one team approach ultimately helps your beneficiaries. In this session we will explore Community Fundraising trends, tools and techniques to develop relationships, examine case studies of other charities and consider the steps required to enhance your supporter journey. You’ll leave this interactive session with practical tips that you can take away and implement.

Our speaker is Gary Kernahan from THINK Consultancy. Gary is currently a consultant and has a wealth of experience in the third sector. From starting as Area Volunteer Manager and Regional Manager at Cancer Research UK for 4 years, to being Head of Regional Development and Supporter Care for the following 8 years at Muscular Dystrophy UK, he has amassed a broad range of skills and knowledge in senior positions, which he is willing to share!

Tea and coffee will be served at 10am, with our speakers starting at 10.30am. There will be a networking lunch afterwards (venue TBC), which all attendees are very welcome to come along to.

This session is FREE if you are already an IoF member. If you're not a member, two sessions cost £20, or £60 for all 4. For access to great benefits and the Community SIG sessions for free, why not sign up to be a member of the IoF for just £85 per annum?

Payment for attendance at the session or for SIG membership will be taken on the door. All IoF members should bring along their membership card or a note of their membership number.
