Join us as we celebrate the work of the HSC People’s Academy.

Since March 2015 the People’s Academy brings together the voices and viewpoints of patients, carers and professionals to revolutionise and enrich the Health and Social Care sector.
This conference will:
Celebrate the achievements of people in supporting their own health, the health and wellbeing of their loved ones and communities.
Showcase examples of coproduction that have generated significant impact of citizens and health and social care services
Showcase the work of the London South Bank University’s People’s Academy in bringing together the voices and viewpoints of patients, carers and professionals to revolutionise and enrich the Health and Social Care sector
There will be some register-only workshops running in the afternoon.
Refreshments will be served all day

Coproduction brings together the assets of communities and services, to generate better results for all. Here we showcase examples of where coproduction has made a real difference

Respect your own voice: during an hour's work with highly esteemed (and resident) over 60's theatre group 3rdthought and its artistic director, Peter Avery. Maximum number of participants at each workshop: 12.
2: Sheilds of Resilience workshop, Xavier White and Angela Morris-Winmill
Xavier White, Artist in residence and Angela Morris-Winmill, Artist/Designer will be running a workshop on Resilience
2:30pm - 3:15pm, Company in Residence, Maryam Zonouzi at Ginger Giraffe Cooperative
3:15pm - 3:30pm Tea Break
3:30pm - 4:15pm, The future of the People's Academy, Prof Sally Hardy
