Event description

Description

**LAST FEW TICKETS REMAINING**

The University of Bristol declared a climate emergency in April 2019 and aims to be carbon neutral by 2030.

To achieve this, the University needs your help in finding innovative ways to reduce our carbon emissions. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved with the climate emergency work over the coming months and years.

The first opportunity is to get involved in the “People’s Assembly on the Climate Crisis”.

This assembly, through group working, aims to generate ideas that staff and students can help deliver to reduce carbon emissions. We’ll discuss different topics surrounding the climate crisis, from energy use in our buildings and transport to what we buy and eat.

You can also learn about what the University is already planning to do to reduce carbon emissions.

If you are not able to attend this event in person you can access a live feed and take part in generating ideas by visiting:

Slido will also be used to gather attendee ideas and feedback during this event, so please bring a smartphone or tablet if you can.
