Event description

Description

The responsibility of bridging divides and making strong communities, can be taken on by any of us. To get started, all we need to do is bring people together and give them something they can collaborate on.

This half day is for people facilitating and leading networks for social change, to meet their peers and to practice skills and techniques to facilitate group work, from problem-solving to decision-making. We’ll be drawing on the learning from the People’s Community of Practice, sharing practical advice, expertise of our members and leading research from the network experts.

Networks can offer non-hierarchical, flat structures with distributed leadership and that’s the way we’re approaching this interactive workshop, so come ready to actively contribute, participate and shape the session.

It’s more than a chance to make new connections with people managing networks of community businesses and social enterprises. By building the capacity of network facilitators and creating a support system for peer learning in the third sector, this programme aims to catalyze networks for change.

We’ll be running a follow up day on 25th April, more information coming soon.
