Event description

Description

Following the roll out of Universal Credit (UC) in Sheffield and the UN Report on Extreme Poverty in the UK, the People.SHF and Universal Credit Partnership have been working together to explore how we could bring the digital expertise and resources; and community support in our city together to help improve the lives of people claiming UC.

Survey:

To help us build a map of the current 'user journey', we are gathering the experiences of people who have applied for UC since November 2018 through this short survey. We would be grateful if you could share your insights using this survey by 4th February 2019.

Event:

We will be hosting a summit from 09:00-12:00 on the 28th February in Sheffield facilitated by Good Things Foundation, where we will use a service design approach to explore the issues and potential solutions enabled by a blend of digital and face to face support.

There are limited places available and we will endeavour to ensure we get a balance of people with digital expertise and with frontline and policy experience of UC.

Background Information:

To find out more about Universal Credit and the process of application please see Sheffield City Council information page and the Good Things Foundation UC Online Support Tool and this video clip.
