Bringing a taste of Italy, this special course has been designed to help develop your artisan culinary skills as we create beautiful fresh pasta in our London kitchen...
Sara Ward will welcome you to Hen Corner with fresh coffee and homemade biscuits. After an introduction to our time together you will have opportunity to stroll around the garden visiting the chickens and bees, then off to the conservatory and kitchen to get busy...
After collecting fresh eggs from the hens, our morning will be spent making pasta dough and cutting a simple tagliatelle to be served with a garden pesto for our lunch. Our afternoon will then be spent making filled pasta, such as ravioli, which we can take home to enjoy another day.
Everyone goes home with a goodie bag including recipe sheets and your homemade filled pasta.
‘Sara is a fantastic tutor; engaging and informative in perfect measure. These courses are excellent value for money; to learn in a home environment that you can easily replicate, with like minded enthusiasts. And with home made refreshments; endless supplies of wonderful coffee, biscuits and cakes from her own organic produce… Highly recommended and also a great day with friends.’ Karen, 29 January 2015
When & Where
Sara Ward, Hen Corner
‘Since moving into her West London home a few years ago, Sara Ward and her husband Andy have industriously set up Hen Corner, where they now have a stunning kitchen garden – with raised beds full of seasonal crops – fruit and nut trees, a flock of clucking hens and a beehive with busy bees hard at work making honey.’ Michele Jameson, Country Living Magazine
We are Hen Corner.
We love the bee keepers, the veggie bed diggers, the jam makers and cider drinkers, the chicken fanciers and the real bread bakers.
But not just in the deepest darkest countryside or the far, far away villages but right here in our cities and towns.
So, come on a course and join us on the journey…
