This practical and engaging Performance Management Training is designed for managers looking to improve engagement and motivation in their teams. You will use a range of exercises to learn about setting meaningful goals and objectives, carrying out 1:2:1 appraisals and how you can delegate effectively to improve individual and team performance.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Identify the three management styles and specify your natural preference when leading people.
- List the three key principles of delegation, and how to delegate a task successfully.
- Understand the importance of questioning and listening skills when being a manager.
- State the four-stage process of an effective performance appraisal in order to engage and develop team members.
- Appreciate the structure for running regular 1:2:1 reviews to build stronger relationships and increase trust with team members.
- Apply coaching models to progress team members in order to improve performance and productivity.
This course is the next step in helping you grow into a more confident manager. It provides guidance on key managerial duties that support you in optimising individual performance, motivating and including employees as well as enabling them to contribute positively to business objectives.
