Speakers bio:

Justine Gillespie | LinkedIn

As a passionate Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) consultant, I am dedicated to fostering inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and empowered. With a proven track record in creating impactful EDI initiatives, I have successfully established an EDI function from the ground up, laying the foundation for systemic change within organisations.

One of my proudest achievements has been the creation of nine vibrant staff networks, which have engaged over 550 participants across diverse backgrounds. These networks not only promote community and belonging but also serve as a platform for essential dialogue and advocacy around key EDI issues.

My commitment to collaboration and teamwork has been instrumental in driving engagement and participation within these networks. Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving as the Deputy Chair for successful Athena SWAN submissions, where we focused on advancing gender equality in STEM fields.

This experience has equipped me with valuable insights into navigating complex organisational dynamics and advocating for equitable practices. My skills as an EDI consultant include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling me to connect with individuals at all levels and facilitate constructive conversations.

I possess a deep understanding of EDI concepts and legislation, and I leverage analytical skills to assess organisational practices and drive meaningful change.

My expertise in training and facilitation allows me to create tailored workshops that inspire participants to embrace diversity and inclusion. I am excited to help organisations cultivate inclusive cultures where everyone can thrive
