Description

Performing better is geared towards the heritage, arts and tourism sectors. Come along and hear the findings from the innovative project Shaped by Industry-Shared with Pride where participative theatre was used to bring our rich industrial heritage to life to a wider audience. 3 workshops will also take place to discover how participative theatre can work for your tourist businesses. Keynote speech by European Route of Industrial Heritage coordinator for UK and Ireland; Jonathan Lloyd.https://www.erih.net/ Welcome by Dr. Jim McGreevy representative from Heritage Lottery Fund. Lunch will be provided, if you have any dietry requirements please email Claire.Torrens@midandeastantrim.gov.uk during lunch there will also be an opportunity to view the Linenopolis exhibition. This project is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, Tourism NI and Department for Communities.

Programme for the day:

10:30am-11am: Arrival/registration

11am-12:45pm: Welcome, keynote speech & 1st workshop

12:45pm-1:15pm: Lunch break and chance to view Linenopolis exhibition

1:15pm-2:30pm: 2nd & 3rd workshop

2:30pm-3pm: Close
