A dynamic and diverse conference exploring practical and theoretical insights into perinatal mental health.

Incuding Specialist Speakers from psychotherapy, cinical psychology, midwifery and health visiting.

Topics include:

  • Approaches to perinatal mental health
  • Impact of medication and decision making
  • Women's personal stories
  • Birth Trauma
  • Resilience and Self Care for Professionals

Tea and coffee will be provided.

Bring a packed lunch, utilise the canteen at Audrey Emerton or explore the numerous cafes nearby.

Any profit made will be donated to PANDA's, a pre and postnatal mental health charity to help establish a support resource for the local area. More information can be found at

This event is open to ALL working in Maternity SErvices - midwives, students, obstetricians, anaesthetists, MCA's/MSW's, doulas. External delegates are welcome.

Please note that parking is difficult around the hospital - there are meters but some are limited to 4 hours parking at a time. We would advise using public transport to attend the event. Buses from Brighton station take about 10-15 minutes and stop right outside the Audrey Emerton Building.
