Event description
To celebrate the international year of the Periodic table, we’re going to investigate how many elements crop up during a Christmas dinner.

About this Event

2019 is the international year of the periodic table. To celebrate this iconic symbol of science, we’re going to investigate how many elements crop up during a Christmas dinner. Play along with this demo-packed comedy game of periodic table bingo and see how many elements you can spot

There are prizes to be won, plus we'll show you how to perform some of our favourite dinner-table demos so you can deploy them during your own festive seasonal parties.

You don’t need to be a chemist or a scientist to enjoy it: we’ll be dropping lots of useful hints and you can always ask Google for help.

Presented by Professor Mark Lorch (@Mark_Lorch) and Phil Bell-Young (@Philby91). More actors/presenters to follow.
