Wellbeing Day
A day for patients, relatives and carer.
An opportunity for those affected by peritoneal malignancy to attend a day of specialist led presentations and discussions, organised by the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute Basingstoke and Pelican Cancer Foundation.
The day will cover topics such as understanding the different disease types, surgery, radiology, nutrition, physiotherapy & exercise, psychological wellbeing, latest research and developments.
On the day, you will have the opportunity to ask our specialist team members any questions you have, meet and talk to other patients, visit our information stands and hear patient stories.
Our peritoneal malignancy talks’ include appendix cancer, pseudomyxoma peritonei, peritoneal mesothelioma and colorectal cancer with spread to the peritoneum.
The second half of the day will have separate peritoneal mesothelioma sessions. Please chose which subject session you will be attending when prompted on the booking page.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
