Description

Personal and Professional Leadership Development for Women

Coming Into Your Own ~ A residential three day programme

Date: Thursday 5th October to Saturday 7th October

Time: From 2.30pm on Thursday to 5pm on Saturday

Venue: Hunton Park, Essex Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8PN

Cost: Individual £1,025 Small Business £1,250 Corporate £1,600

Why this programme?

We are all leaders in our own lives with influence on others professionally, in our families, and in our wider circles. Cultural norms in our society are evolving, and mainstream definitions of leadership and success are under examination surfacing questions such as:

  • Could my professional and personal values be more powerfully aligned?
  • What might greater personal and professional sustainability make possible?

Women are more likely to invest in relationships that build social capital and the well-being of the whole system. They are more likely to collaborate, listen deeply and take a long term view that values process and people as much as completing the task in hand. Coming Into Your Own supports women who are up against the challenges of succeeding in a male paradigm that recognises these skills, but undervalues them. This programme explores the leading roles women are playing in a powerful process of renegotiating worth.

About the programme:

In practical and insightful ways this residential programme identifies and champions the unique contributions women are making in the larger, complex dynamics currently at play in our world. The programme undergirds each participant’s ability, privately and publicly, to step more fully into her own unique leadership capacity and take responsibility for what truly matters to her.

Highly participatory and interactive, this programme focuses on each woman’s individual journey, her current opportunities, challenges and transitions. Using coaching tools, group dialogue, interactive exercises, reflection and leadership models, participants will:

  • Receive pre and post event phone calls to enable tailored content and follow up
  • Explore the ages and stages unique to women’s lives and how this has impact
  • Learn and use the “four leadership stances” to access untapped resources
  • Identify barriers that prevent full authentic expression
  • Take next steps towards emerging opportunities and address challenges
  • Increase personal and professional capacity to live daily life, fully engaged

Convened by: Alison Dungworth Finance Director and Coach/Mentor, the programme is delivered by: Sarah-Jane Menato Coach, Leadership Development Consultant and Women’s Business Start-Up Mentor and Serena Newby, Attunement Practitioner. Contributors include, Sarah Rozenthuler Leadership Development Consultant and Author and Ann Canham Coach and Facilitator.
