Event description

Description

The Resilience Doughnut model, when applied to an individual, helps them to discover their strongest resources and how to connect these strengths to thrive. We know that leaders and managers who are confident and resilient build an optimistic mindset in their personnel and staff.

This workshop is an opportunity for current or aspiring leaders and managers to strengthen their strongest relationships, connect them with a purpose and create a personal action plan to increase their own resilience and wellbeing.

This workshop will enable participants to:

  • Assess their current strengths using the Resilience Doughnut.

  • Create their own action plan by understanding what they are able to change, in order to improve their ability to cope.

  • Recognise and discuss each other's strengths and how to encourage these through solution-focused conversations.

  • Create their own 'Doughnut Moments'.

  • Understand how to use this model to cope better through periods of transition and adversity.

  • Understand how to develop Psychological Capital and move towards PERMA to improve their own personal and professional wellbeing.

  • Enhance their personal resilience thus better supporting change management processes.

  • To assess their own interactional styles and enable them to move toward leading for integrity.

  • Be aware of processes of building their personal and professional resilience.

  • Identify the personal purpose and meaning they have for their work.
