Description

It is widely acknowledged that good management is dependent on continual feedback and review through one-to-one meetings between the Manager and the Role holder. This is particularly the case at the time of the Annual PDPR process where the performance of the role holder is reviewed formally. This interactive training session will guide upon this process, explore the importance of the Performance Review process and give practical steps to maximise effectiveness in accordance with the PDPR policy of the DBF.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the PDPR process and understand their role within it
  • Explain how the forms relate to the process
  • Utilise strategies upon how to give effective feedback
  • Recognise how Diocesan Strategy, Vision and Priorities link to consideration of DBF staff behaviours
  • Differentiate between performance and development goals
