Where:

Harrow Baptist Church (has wheelchair access)

College Road

Harrow HA1 1BA

(a 3-minute walk from Harrow-On-The-Hill tube station)

What is a personal budget?

  • A personal budget is the amount of money paid for your care, based on what the Council or the NHS think your needs are.

Who can get a personal budget?

  • If Harrow Council decides you qualify for financial support for your care then you can get a personal budget if you live at home.
  • You may also get a personal budget from the NHS for some services.

What is a direct payment?

  • A direct payment gives you the most control over your care and means that if you are unhappy with the services you’re getting, you can change who gives you those care services. However, there are some extra responsibilities that you have if you choose this way of being paid.
