With the introduction of Self-directed Support support provision is becoming more personalised and focused on meeting individual outcomes. Recent Research by Providers and Personalisation (P&P) highlighted some of the different approaches providers are taking and the challenges for the workforce in moving to a more personalised support model.
This event will explore the importance of promoting the values of Self-directed Support (SDS) and maintaining the rights of workers through the Fair Work Agenda.
Outcomes of the event:

Increased knowledge of the Fair Work agenda and how this fits with personalisation and choice and control for supported people

Increased awareness of the enablers and barriers for the delivery of self-directed support through personalised workforce practices

Increased understanding of SDS
Please note registration, tea and coffee will be available from 9.30am and the event will start at 10am. A networking lunch will be available after the event from 1pm.
Places for this event may be limited and will be prioritised for voluntary sector support providers to attend.
