The conference will look at the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and the wider implications of the Mental Capacity Act on the way we create environments and deliver services to ensure that we do all we can liberate people to live well with dementia for as long as possible.
This conference provides an opportunity to discuss how we achieve best practice in dementia care and how embracing liberating models of care opens up a real opportunity to improve outcomes for people living with the condition.
The conference will be chaired by Ian Sherriff, former Trustee of Alzheimer’s Society and chair of the Prime Minister’s Rural Dementia Group.
