Description

Perthshire Talks Tourism invites tourism businesses to join us to prepare for the year ahead, to delve into the past and share Perthshire’s fascinating stories.

From heritage sites to ancient monuments, cultural traditions to our myths, stories and legends – the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology will spotlight some of our greatest assets and icons as well as our hidden gems.

Hear from the Scottish Crannog Centre, who celebrate their 20th Anniversary and not to mention the host of things to do as part of Perth & Kinross’ Archaeology Year 2017.

Experts will be on hand throughout the day as part of our digital drop-in to provide digital support and advice.

It’s important that the industry embraces new technology, innovation and new ways of working if it wants to compete in a competitive global market.

Insights are also vital to learning about our visitors and planning for the future. Did you know that Scotland’s history, heritage and archaeology are among the top reasons for visiting Scotland?

Chris Greenwood of VisitScotland will bring the morning to a close by sharing insights including trends, technologies and strategies for the future.
