About this event

Food & Drink • Food

Perthshire Talks Tourism is back this autumn, and this time we’re talking all things food and drink.

Aimed at tourism business across Perthshire, this popular in-person industry event is a great way to hear about what’s happening across the sector nationally and regionally, from a range of inspiring speakers and industry leaders.

Taking place on 30 October, from 10am until 1pm at Birnam Arts Centre in Perthshire, we invite you to join us to hear about the latest trends and insights from Fiona Richmond of Scotland Food & Drink.

Delve into what’s happening within the food and drink scene across Perthshire. We’ve got a packed programme of local speakers:

  • Daniel Muir, Food and Drink Network Lead at Growbiz will provide an overview of the Regional Food Group – Great Perthshire and initiatives such as Tasting Tayside
  • Hear from Chris Rowley, Owner at Ballintaggart Farm & Cook School about their expansion diversification, and investment plans
  • Fraser Potter, Owner of the Taybank Hotel will share news of progress and development of The Birnam Hotel and plans for the creation of a vibrant new destination opening in 2026
  • Hear from Crieff Hydro on their new £5m dining investment which has created six new bars and restuarants

Come along, connect with industry peers, and sample a delicious Scottish lunch.

The event will be facilitated by Caroline Warburton, Destination Development Director at VisitScotland, and delivered by Perthshire Tourism Partnership in collaboration with Scotland Food and Drink and our Regional Food Group (Great Perthshire).

Due to the popular demand for this event, spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis – so register your place today!
