Pet Loss Support CPD Refresher Course - 4 hours CPD

Our new refresher course has been developed in line with the new RCVS changes to CPD requirements with CPD hours now having to be taken annually (35 for vets and 15 for vet nurses) and not spread across three years.

This change is to ensure a more in-depth focus on quality training and a need for it to be ‘regular’ and ‘relevant’ at all times. In line with the need to refresh the original accredited course as per the RCVS standards charter.

This course is designed to revisit and refresh your knowledge and will provide you with 4 CPD hours. The course can be booked anytime to suit you and your needs. There is a requirement that you have attended and attained the accredited pet loss course, before starting this course, you will be asked for your CPD or NCFE certificate details prior to the link being forwarded, as it is a refresher to the main course, not a stand alone course.

This course can be booked at any time throughout the year.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your booking within 14 days of confirming your place without charge (provided your course hasn't started).

If you cancel your booking more than four weeks before the start of the course, we only charge a £30 cancellation fee to cover our costs.

If you cancel your booking between two and four weeks before the start of the course, you will receive a 50% refund if your course fee was more than £60. If your course fee was less than £60, we will charge a £30 cancellation fee, and refund you any remaining balance.

If you cancel your booking less than two weeks before the start of the course, you won’t get any refund.

Depending on the circumstances we may offer an alternative to a refund, such as enrolment to an alternative course.

In exceptional circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. If we do, we will always try to offer you a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept this, we will offer you a full refund.

Requesting a deferral

If you would like to be considered for a deferral to enable you to complete any outstanding work, you should make the request, at the earliest opportunity, to plstraining@bluecross.org.uk

We will charge a £30 administration fee for all deferrals, payable before being enrolled onto the next suitable course.
