The lecture will explore the  relationship between modernism and tradition in the work of swedish architect Peter Celsing 1920-1974.


Graduating from the AA, Tony Fretton went on to work for various practices before setting up Tony Fretton Architects in 1982. The award-winning practice has gone on to create a multitude of significant buildings, including The Red House, The British Embassy in Warsaw and The Lisson Gallery in London. From 1999 to 2013, Tony held the post of Professor within the Chair of Architecture and Interiors at TU Delft, the Netherlands.
