Peter says ‘ Orange Tree House is uniquely positioned along the shoreline of Strangford Lough, at Greyabbey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. When the sun shines it’s gorgeous and even when it’s raining it’s so dramatic and fascinating to look out at. I had been looking for somewhere that would suit an intimate evening where the audience feel like we’ve really spent time getting to know each other. This night will feel a little more unplugged, with time for some songs I love that you won’t have heard me sing before, along with storytelling and laughter along the way.
I’ll be accompanied by two of my fantastic musicians Oisin McCann & Plunkett McGartland who accompany me regularly at lots of different concerts and events. Each brings with them a dazzling musicianship and personality to boot.
In addition to this, if you are attending you will be spoiled by a three course menu curated by the venue specially, sourcing fresh ingredients directly from the local area.
As a part of Taste Autumn in Ards and North Down, which runs from Friday 5th to Sunday 28th September, this showcase of local food and drink is designed to help highlight hidden treasures along the Ards peninsula. This evening at Orange Tree will be one not to miss.
