PETER HOWARTH Plays Live at Gallery Different

with Special Guest IAN PARKER

A welcome return to the gallery for HOLLIES lead singer PETER HOWARTH who will be entertaining with an accoustic performance of some classic hits (He Aint Heavy, The Air that I Breathe, Carrie, Pretty Woman) as well as some of his own compositions from his album, Evermore.  Star of the Roy Orbison Story in the West End and long time guitarist and vocalist with Sir Cliff Richard, join us to hear his amazing vocals and wonderful accoustic arrangements of some familiar songs.

He will be joined by his special guest IAN PARKER who launched his own album PACIFICA at the gallery in 2015 to great acclaim

Fellow Hollies band member Ian Parker is a composer/producer/keyboardist/vocalist and DJ.  A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, he has been a member of the Hollies and Clannad for many years and has performed with Elkie Brooks, Joan Armatrading, The Three Degrees, Chuck Berry and the Tom Robinson band to name but a few.  He will perform tracks from his scifi chillhouse album Pacifica and tracks from Count the Waves, Clannad, Tom Robinson.

This gig is part of the Gallery's ART & MUSIC series, and your ticket gives you access to our Winter Collective featuring gallery and guest artists.  Included with be the two artists with solo exhibitions coming up in October:


is the umberella title for our two shows which shows how these talented artists are able to take two of our best loved possessions - vinyl records and books - and transform them into sought after works of art.

features new books with their subversive, witty , charming yet challenging subects.  There will also be a launch of a series of prints which are avaialble for pre-order as well as a stunning installation - the characters in her books have escaped their confines and are at large in the lower gallery!

Useful Information

Doors will open at 7pm and the performance will commence at 7.30pm.  There will be a cash bar serving a range of wines, beers and soft drinks with table service.  Bar snacks will be available.  Seating is cabaret style on a first come first served basis.  There is limited cloakroom facilities so please avoid bringing large bags.

Nearest underground stations are Tottenham Court Road on the northern and central lines, Goodge Street on the Northern Line and Warren Street and Oxford Circus on the Victoria Line.  There are also numerous buses which stop on Tottenham Court Road close to Percy Street.  There is on street parking which is free after 6.30pm.
